Award-Winning Artist Darryl Daniels Uses Work To Help Musicians That Inspire

Artist Darryl Daniels, whose jazz musician-inspired paintings have been seen on CD covers by world-renowned pianist Chick Corea, on festival posters for the Syracuse Jazz Festival, as well television(“The Cosby Mysteries” starring Bill Cosby) and film (Justice), is now using his artwork to help musicians in need.

Daniels is donating 20% of sales proceeds of canvas and print reproductions from his Darryl Daniels Jazz Collection series of paintings, published by New York- based FineArtAmerica.com, to the Jazz Foundation of America, also based in New York.

For over 21 years, the Jazz Foundation of America, a nonprofit organization, has helped jazz musicians by getting free medical care, creating work opportunities, and keeping food on the table and a roof over their heads in times of crisis. Twenty Years Of Jazz As Art - The Darryl Daniels Jazz Collection

Darryl Daniels first painted "Traffic Jam", the first painting in his award-winning Jazz Collection series in his cramped little studio office in 1990. Twenty years later, the series is still growing and going strong. With this anniversary the artist is announcing a number of new ventures.

The first announcement is a new alliance with FineArtAmerica.com to publish many of his most popular images from the Darryl Daniels Jazz Collection in prints and canvas reproductions.
